10 Days of 24 Hour Prayer
Thursday, June 2 – Saturday, June 11, 2011
Like the Early Church in Acts 1, we encourage all local congregations, communities, cities and regions to spend 10 days in prayer leading up to Pentecost Sunday, June 12.
How can you join with us during these 10 days of 24 Hour Prayer?
A number of churches in Arlington will be designated as prayer locations at certain times during this ten day period (the specific locations as well as the dates and times of their availability will be announced soon). You are invited to attend these locations and join with believers in prayer for as long as you can.
If you are unable to join in prayer at one of these locations, we still invite you to join with us in prayer during this 10 day period and would love to know that you or your group will be joining us in prayer from your home, place of business, or other location. You can let us know by filling out the 24 Hour Prayer Sign-up.
Here are some more ways you can gather for prayer:
- Open your church for small gatherings or plan special prayer times.
- Pray together as families or any small group meeting in your home.
- Organize special concerts of prayer among congregations.
- Offer 24-hour prayer sign-ups.
- Fast for one or all of the ten days.
